"Humans hold the power of gods in their minds; if we forget to analyze and question our society, if we choose to ignore the problems we leave in our wake, we ensure the inevitable death of not just ourselves, but of Earth, of nature—in short, we ensure oblivion."

ABOUT ME

I first began my writing career at age eight, when I wrote a movie script of what was sure to be a smash hit, at least, from what I remember, because eight-year-old me forgot to click the save button. And, just as it was finished, the computer got unplugged... as the legend goes.

First (self)-published in 2015, my works have amassed a following of hundreds of thousands (see a handful of testimonials from those below). My first musical, A Deadly Game of Chess, was first copyrighted in 2016 and saw a regional theatre premier in 2019 to a sold-out crowd of 200. I was awarded the PTA Book Award for excellence in music, the Ken Paul scholarship for excellence in music composition, and later the Columbia College Chicago Faculty Recognition Scholarship for my portfolio in 2017. I attended New York University for scriptwriting from 2019-2024, and Columbia College Chicago for Music Composition from 2017-2018. Today, I am working with Spark Productions as script reading intern.

In my writing, I try to understand the present by contextualizing the past. To me, history is more than a boring lecture, it's our only ongoing narrative, a story that combines everything from science to psychology to art to religion. I don't buy that history repeats itself entirely, but it does repeat patterns that must be understood in order for humanity to progress. Through my writing, I try to portray our history as the insane, intriguing, and suspenseful dumpster fire that it really is to impress one message on my readers: how on Earth are we all still here?
